In order to accommodate our online customer's requirements as efficiently as possible, we have minimum order guidelines.
Customers must order a minimum of 12 cupcakes per transaction for delivery. Should you wish to purchase a smaller quantity we would advise our customers to visit Amaru Confections personally.
If you wish to order large quantities, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
All products are subject to availability.
Our online system allows you the option of selecting the date you wish to pick up or have your order delivered.
Online orders can be placed no later than 12pm the day before the order is needed (subject to kitchen availability).
Ordering at the bakery
We are happy to take your order at the bakery during the following opening hours:
Tues- Thur: 09:00am-5:00pm
Sat: 9:00am-7:00pm
As all our products are made by hand, the final product will vary every time. Please be aware that the images on our website are for display purpose only and are not fully representative of the end product.
The following storage methods are our best suggestions, but our products are always best enjoyed on the day of purchase.
Party cakes and cupcakes can be refrigerated in warm weather; we would suggest removing them from the fridge 1 hour before serving to ensure the best taste and texture.
In average temperatures we would recommend storing your cakes in a cool dry place and ideally in an air tight container.
Consuming our Products
We would recommend consuming your cakes, cupcakes and other desserts from our bakery within two days of purchase.
Allergy Information
Please note that although a product may not contain nuts, many items are made in our traditional kitchen that handles nuts, eggs, soy, milk and wheat. Items that are expressly marked as gluten free, were made in our dedicated gluten free kitchen and should be free of contaminates, but depending on the overall decoration of the items (particularly cakes) they may have to be brought into the regular bakery and would come in contact with utensils and equipment that contain these contaminates.
We run random tests of our gluten free bakery to ensure that there has been no cross-contamination from outside sources, and we adhere to a strict tolerance of 5PPM gluten, which is below the FDA's recommendations of 20PPM. All our tests over the past year (as of November 2014) have come back at zero PPM gluten. So you can feel confident that the products that leave this facility are free from contaminates. Our products are sold at our location as gluten free, and in some outside retail locations at "gluten-less" or "free of gluten" due to the possibility of coming in contact with gluten rich products.
