At Amaru Confections we believe in a truly personal approach to wedding cake design because we understand that such an important celebration deserves a very special cake. Kathie and her staff realize that this is a once in a lifetime cake, and they go to great lengths to turn your dreams into a beautiful and elegant design, that is not only visually stunning but also tastes delicious.

Tasting Appointments

To help us guide you in finding the perfect design for your occasion, we ask that you have a confirmed wedding date and venue before making an appointment. We also ask that you please bring anything that might inspire your cake, such as a swatch of lace from your dress, a picture of your flowers and color samples. Individual photos of other cakes you have seen online are also very helpful, and we ask that you email them to us so we can place them with our notes from your tasting appointment.

At the appointment we will have our top selling flavors of our most popular cakes and filling options for you to sample. The tasting appointment gives you an opportunity to sample our delicious flavors, view the beautiful cakes on display and browse through our extensive portfolio.

Designing Your Wedding Cake

All of our wedding cakes are made-to-order and should be customized to your specifications.

During our one-one-one consultation we can discuss the style and size to fit the number of guests you anticipate. During this meeting, we can discuss how the details unique to your wedding (such as your colors, the reception flowers, the lace of your wedding dress, or perhaps a monogram from your invitation) can inspire the look of your cake.

Your options are limited only by your imagination and the designer you meet with will help you to find the look that perfectly reflects your personal style and provides the crowning center-piece at your reception.

When To Order

We will do our best to accommodate all orders, however, to allow us sufficient time to create and process your custom wedding cake order, we recommend giving us 3 to 6 months lead time on your order.

Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and we reserve the right to decline.

For weddings from March to October we recommend booking your cake at least six months in advance. Alternatively you can reserve your date with a $100 non-refundable deposit and decide on your design at a later date.

Cost

All of our wedding cakes pricing begins with the amount of servings.

Traditional cakes begin at $4.75 per serving.

Gluten-free and/or Vegan cakes begin at $5.75 per serving.

Since each wedding cake is a unique creation and may involve additional decorating, a final price cannot be determined until all of the details are known.

Pick-Up Or Delivery

PICK-UP

Should you wish to pick up your cake, we will provide you with full transport, assembly and storage instructions where required.

Please note that once collected, the full responsibility for the safety of the cake is with the client and Amaru Confections is not liable for any damages thereafter.

DELIVERY

We deliver to just about any venue within 200 miles of Boise, Idaho including Ontario, Sun Valley, McCall, and Stanley.

As part of our service, we will work directly with you or your wedding planner to schedule a delivery slot and to check that all arrangements for assembly such as the cake stand and cake table have been taken care of.

Our delivery service is dependent upon availability and will be charged a flat fee based on travel distance and the time and labor required for assembling the cake. A $300 minimum order applies to locations over 50 miles from our bakery.

Prices are available upon request; please contact us for a quotation and availability. With so many great locations in Idaho, it’s quite possible your venue is not listed. So just let us know and we’ll gladly add it to our list if we go there!
